About The Village EAP

Many organizational problems are related to personal problems within the workforce. Government studies show two out of three work problems originate from personal problems. Ten to 20 percent of employees are facing personal problems that have a direct impact on job performance.

The Village EAP provides confidential and professional counseling that helps employees resolve personal difficulties. History of The Village EAP

The Village EAP began in 1972 when a major manufacturer in Fargo, ND, contacted The Village Family Service Center about providing counseling for its employees. The worksite-based program was developed to assist employers in helping their employees be more productive and healthier on the job.

Today

The Village EAP serves over 550 organizations and their workforces throughout the United States and Canada. Organizations such as Polaris Industries, Team Industries, Barrel O’ Fun, BTD Manufacturing, Alexandria Extrusion, North Dakota State University, Otter Tail Power Company, Shooting Star Casino, Tecton Products and Integrity Windows have looked to The Village EAP to provide professional services for their organizations.
