Financial Services
We encourage regular “check ups” for your finances. Counselors can help you develop a plan to reach your goals. The Village’s Consumer Credit Counseling Service counselors are certified through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.
All employees and their household members are entitled to this benefit. To schedule an appointment with a financial counselor, call 1-800-627-8220.
During your appointment, you and your financial counselor may discuss:
- Any pressing current financial situation
- Your overall financial situation
- Short-term goals
- Long-term goals
- Your personal action plan for dealing with your financial situation
The Village Debt Management Program can help you with unsecured debt such as:
- Credit card debt
- Medical debt
- Collection debt
Financial “well check-ups” are encouraged. Your counselor can help you develop a plan to reach your goals. For example:
- Planned saving for your children's education
- Planned saving for your retirement
- Planned saving for an emergency fund for your family
Whether you are deep in debt, or just want to plan for the future, financial counseling will give you the tools you need to successfully execute your financial action plan. To learn more about financial counseling, visit The Village Financial Resource Center.
A financial planning tool entitled “Your Financial Roadmap” is also available through The Village EAP.
